Audition Background
Symphony Silicon Valley is a professional union orchestra that operates under agreement with the American Federation of Musicians, Local 153.  The orchestra's collective bargaining agreement requires that all members of the orchestra, including any substitute players, be dues-paying members in good standing of Local 153.

The Symphony announces all auditions both nationally and locally in AFM publications.  Audition announcements are also posted here on this section of our website.  We cannot provide personal notification of openings or auditions.
